I am a teacher. That's what the title means. And here's the proof:
The last couple of weeks I've been starting to teach way more. At first it was very much a 9-5 desk job, with hours on end writing, editing, and creating textbooks for the company. With all that behind us now, we're starting to go out to schools in Chengdu to teach and spread the word about BDMJ and the new books. I'm teaching at a few different schools and programs a week, and I'm truly truly loving it. If I wasn't sure before, it's pretty clear now. This is what I want to do. Teaching ESL is so fun. All my students are pretty adorable and they flip out when a tall blonde American girl comes into the classroom. It's pretty classic. So on that end, and every end for that matter, things are going pretty good.
